Yoho Mall needed a clear wayfinding touchpoint near the station exit, where foot traffic is dense and decisions must be quick. The solution had to support daily shopper needs and also handle frequent event changes without reprinting.
The platform had to work in an open public corridor with changing ambient light and sightlines. Information needed strong hierarchy for fast scanning. The kiosk also had to be movable and rebuildable for relocation, while keeping content easy for the client to update.
I structured the experience as a simple category-first flow on a nearby tablet, then revealed details on the large projection. I designed map and directory layouts with clear priorities, and built feature modules for events, parking, and popular topics like pets and bikes. I also prepared technical drawings for the platform, calibrated the projector for alignment and brightness, and aligned motion timing to support legibility.
Shoppers could find locations and current information faster at a key entry point. The kiosk format supported relocation without rebuilding the whole system. The CMS workflow allowed Yoho Mall to update event content quickly, keeping the platform useful beyond a single campaign cycle.
