This course focuses on advanced sketching for visual communication. I developed rapid ideation, layout planning, and sequencing skills to express design concepts clearly before digital production, including storyboards for motion and interactive design.

This assignment focused on drawing 10-12 hands in different gestures using simplified construction techniques. I practiced blocking and proportion skills, understanding basic anatomy and how to suggest motion or interaction without overcomplicating the form.
Through this week’s assignment, I practiced drawing hands interacting with various objects using blocking and LUR techniques. This helped me understand proportions, motion, and the functional relationship between the hand and product in a dynamic visual context.
This exercise focuses on applying gestural sketching techniques to human figures. I practiced capturing movement, posture, and proportion through simplified silhouettes and sequential poses. These drawings emphasize fluidity, interaction, and spatial orientation, reinforcing storytelling and visual communication in design contexts.
This 5-panel storyboard follows an emotional narrative: on a rainy day, a girl finds an abandoned newborn squirrel, brings it home, nurtures it, and eventually forms a deep bond. The final frame shows them sharing a meal as family. This exercise trains my ability to visually sequence ideas, develop key story moments, and communicate emotion clearly through composition and gesture.
