This assignment trains me to design a renovation sell sheet that reflects professionalism, reliability, and aesthetic value. I must use all provided content and develop a layout that appeals to adult homeowners while conveying trust, quality, and design excellence.

In the 1st stage, I explored both 6-column and 8-column grid systems to estimate how the provided text could be distributed effectively. This helped me assess the necessary space for each section and plan for a clear, readable layout.
After reviewing all the provided images, I selected 10 with a consistent warm tone: mainly orange-brown, to align with the brand’s aesthetic. I also evaluated their composition to ensure they could integrate smoothly with text without losing clarity or impact.
I developed a visual system based on my selected image palette and the brand tone. I used Alternate Gothic for headings to express a clean, architectural character that aligns with the renovation industry. For body copy, I selected Adriane Text due to its high legibility and compact style, making it suitable for large volumes of content in a confined layout. My colour palette includes a warm brown as the dominant tone (60%), complemented by an energetic orange (30%) and a mint green accent (10%) to add contrast and visual balance. These colours are sampled directly from my selected images to ensure harmony. Finally, I applied all elements into a mockup front page layout, testing text hierarchy, spatial balance and readability.
In the final layout, I used InDesign to organize a large amount of text while keeping enough breathing space. I applied both 6-column and 8-column grid systems to different parts of the design and adjusted elements carefully to make the overall layout look natural and balanced. My main challenge was to demonstrate variation in typography without making the page feel over-designed. I controlled font weight, spacing, alignment, and hierarchy to show visual structure and keep readability. This assignment helped me improve my layout judgment and understanding of how to work with dense information clearly.
