This project requires designing a complete app interface from scratch to address a specific user need. It emphasizes usability, clarity, and aesthetics, guiding students through the full UI design process, from concept development to branding, navigation, layout, and high-fidelity prototyping.

I created the user flow for my app “Drive Smart,” which helps drivers reduce fuel use and assess the shift to EVs. Based on my research, I mapped out how users interact from login to diagnosis, AI analysis, and final recommendations. This user flow directly reflects the goals, target audience, personas, and pain points addressed in my creative brief, ensuring a more intuitive and helpful driving experience.
I developed the mood board to define the app’s visual direction. I selected a color palette where green represents eco-consciousness, blue signals technology, and grey conveys trust. I used Arial Rounded MT for a casual yet modern tone. The imagery features vehicles, dashboards, and HUD systems to reflect control, driving, and smart features.
I created low-fidelity sketches for key screens: landing, home, and refuel record. I placed UI elements like nav bar, input fields, and performance charts to define layout and interaction. Peer feedback helped refine the layout, combining strengths from both design options.
Once sketches were finalized, I created both low- and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma. I conducted user testing with potential users and gathered feedback. Based on their input, I adjusted text and image sizes to improve readability and enhance overall usability.
